Welcome to Vivant Passport

This is a project of a lifetime. I've been thinking about Vivant Passport for as long as I can remember. It has taken many names and many forms but finally coalesced into a documentation of my travels and all that comes with it. Everything from where I go, how I get there, what I use while traveling, to what I learn and experience. Traveling can be humbling. To me, it is adventure that brings perspective. Travel isn't paramount but has forever augmented my relation to the world and those that make it worth traveling.

It is the 1980's, I'm born in Haiti and a within a few years immigrate to the United States. Swimming in cultures different from my own. Learning that there are many ways of being and each has its quirks. It has been a beautiful journey. Vivant Passport was born from a life of choosing to indulge in great food. Choosing to embrace the world around me. Choosing to let my experiences live inside me and bloom. The name is an extension of bon vivant - a sociable person who has cultivated and refined tastes especially with respect to food and drink. Taste. Travel. Transform is the company motto and my ethos.

While I am just starting and finding my footing, you can expect to see city guides, travel gear reviews, culinary recommendations, and personal stories detailing food and culture from around the world.
